I've watched quite a few musicals in my life and I know it sounds lame but I have yet to watch Grease. So I was absolutely thrilled to know that Gushcloud got me a pair of tickets to the Grease musical that is currently performing at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
I have heard some of Grease's songs (who hasn't?!) and I was super excited to hear them being sung live, with all that costumes and dancing.
I got to say I was impressed by the amazing performance put up by the cast. The dancing was impressive, I really think they got professional dancers on board. Those moves... woah...
The musical certainly didn't miss out my favourite Grease songs such as "Summer Nights", "Grease Lightning", "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "You're the One that I Want". When these songs were playing on stage, I couldn't help but sway along in my seat with the performers on stage. The energy from stage was contagious!
The costumes were so colorful! The costumes worn by the female cast were so pretty, I feel like going back to the 50s! There was a particular dress worn by the lead female cast in one scene was so sweet, she reminded me of Alice in "Alice in Wonderland".
If you are a fan of Grease, GO WATCH IT NOW! Grease is one of those musicals that one must definitely watch at least once in your lifetime. The musical is performing in Singapore until 18 May (THIS SUNDAY!) so hurry and grab your tickets now! Even better, bring your mum along as a belated Mothers' Day gift.
