Janice Chiang: YouTube Fan Fest

I guess the one of best things that has happened to me ever since I started my YouTube journey has got to be participating in the YouTube Fan Fest.

The YouTube Fan Fest (YTFF) is the largest annual YouTube event and this is the second year the event was held in Singapore. The event brings down internationally acclaimed YouTube stars to Singapore and also closer to their Asian fans.

We were invited to participate and perform in this year's YTFF. It was such a huge honour! We really want to thank Google YouTube and *SCAPE for the awesome opportunity.

We were given the opportunity to speak in front of huge international brands and advertising agencies on what YouTubers are all about, explaining to them what we do and what we believe in. We helped them to understand that we do not believe in blatant advertising and we will not compromise our content just to suit their product needs (in other terms, hard-selling). I believe it's extremely important that these companies understand that our content and viewers (people like you :)) are our priorities.

We met so many AMAZING people during this event. Met old friends and made new ones. LOVE IT!

But the most amazing thing has got to be the immense support coming from our fans! We were surprised that SO MANY people knew us and wanted to take pictures with us! It was simply breathtaking. It really motivated us to work harder to create more awesome content, knowing that so many people enjoy watching our videos.
