I caught every single one of the XMen movie. I
am such a fan. >.< So I was simply ecstatic when we were invited for the
movie premiere of "XMen Days of Future Past" in Singapore with Hugh
Jackman, Peter Dinklage and Fan Bing Bing! Can you imagine being close to these
stars and even watching the movie with them?!
We were also invited for the blue carpet event
of the movie premiere. So we had to dress formally and not wanting to bring too
many things but dying to take insane number of pictures, I am so glad for the
invention of camera phones.
Recently received a new phone from Gushcloud,
read on to find out what phone I used to take all my photos here! ;)
During the event, I found a new use for my
phone. This is something most fangirls would probably already know but I am
slow. >.< I got stuck behind quite a number of people when Hugh Jackman
arrived on the blue carpet and being the vain me, I did not wear my glasses so
I could not see him clearly. It does not help that I am not very tall. So I
whipped out my phone and used the camera to try to zoom in to get a clearer
view of him.
With the 16 megapixels camera and a 4X zoom, and
the new Fast Auto Focus (up to 0.3
seconds) I managed to get a clear shot of his handsome face within a few
seconds! Genius.

After squeezing and sweating with people on the
blue carpet (we need to do something about the crazy humidity of Singapore), we
had an hour to spare before the movie started.
So it was camwhoring time!
I also used the Selective Focus feature on my new phone to blur out the background so that the focus would be on the object – me!
It was really dark in the cinema hall but the
pictures turned out awesome even without the flash. That's because the phone’s
camera has a Real Live HDR mode that
captures more light in each image so that the pictures look clear and sharp
even under harsh lighting.
Pretty cool and handy for all your camwhores
queens and selfies-pro, huh?
The movie certainly did not disappoint us.
Elliot was jumping around in excitement after
the movie and could not stop talking about how the movie gave a hint (a really
subtle one) about the relationship between Magneto and Quicksilver. Watch it
when the movie comes out on 22nd May and see if you managed to figure what hint
we are talking about!
I would rate the movie 4.5/5 stars, the missing
0.5 stars is for the lack of fight scenes from Wolverine. I cannot get enough
of that man.
And just like I can’t get enough of Hugh
Jackman, I can’t get enough of my new phone too!

Even though I’ve just received this phone, I’ve
been exploring it and discovering new features and functions everyday. Love the
features it carries, and how slim it is! It’s so slim, it fits nicely into my
little purse. It's so convenient! Special thanks to Samsung SG and Gushcloud

My white Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE!
Just a brief introduction to my new baby: there
are 4 colors available- black, white, gold and blue, and it is the first phone
in the world to carry a Heart Rate
Sensor in a smartphone!
So what is a Heart Rate Sensor? Essentially, it
measures your heart beat and this can be done by placing your finger over the
Heart Rate Sensor. This little added function is perfect for all you fitness
junkies out there!
This Heart Rate Sensor goes along with the S Health app on the GALAXY S5 LTE that
is aimed at encouraging users to exercise and keep fit with various exercise
modes and real time fitness coaching.
One more new function that I love is the Ultra Power Saving Mode, which allows
me to use my phone for up to 30 hours more even at 10% battery!!! Crazy or what!?
When this mode is enabled, my unnecessary
applications like the Camera will be switched off, but essential apps like
SMSes and Emails will be turned on, even Twitter and Facebook apps, allowing me
to remain contactable at all times even without a charger! As phone batteries
die so fast these days, especially with the high usage of social media
applications, I’m sure this will be a huge factor in many people deciding on
getting a phone.
One groundbreaking feature I found out about the
newest Samsung phone is that all GALAXY S5 LTE users will be able to shop and
make payment at any retail merchant that accepts PayPal, just by authenticating
with their fingerprint!?! I can wave goodbye to my savings already, shopping
will become so much more convenient and faster with this exclusive feature.
What’s more is that the new Samsung S5 LTE also
has qualified protection (IP67), which means that it is water and dust resistant. In fact, the special cover protects my
phone even at a water level of 1 meter of up to 30 minutes! Never have to worry
about bringing my phone to the beach/cruise holidays any more!
Just to share a bit more, the good thing about
being a Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE user is that I am entitled to Samsung GALAXY Gifts (US$500)! I have
free and long-term subscriptions to awesome apps such as Evernote, Dropbox,

All your data can be backed up and synced simultaneously with the Smart Switch,
even contacts, calendar and emails! I no longer have to lug my heavy laptop
around, and can just rely on my GALAXY S5 LTE for updates!
Lastly, one of my favorite parts of my GALAXY S5
LTE is that it provides me with super fast data speed, allowing me to catch up
on all my current drama and video obsessions. The Download Booster available on the GALAXY S5 LTE allows fast data
speed by combining Wi-Fi and LTE concurrently, so you can download content up
to THREE times faster than if you use 4G or Wi-fi only.
This sums up my Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE experience
so far. I actually still have another new Samsung device to share with you
guys, but that’s for another time! ;)
