My Exercise Companion

Most of you would have already known that I changed my phone recently. My previous phone was giving me some problems and enough was enough, it's time to get a new one. So I decided to try the Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE.

It is always tedious to change phones. You got to move all your pictures, contacts, apps, blah blah to the new phone manually. I used to move all my stuff into my computer and then manually move them into the new phone. Hated it.

But then... my friend told me about this super convenient app, Samsung Smart Switch!

All I need to do is to update my old phone into iCloud which took me about half an hour because I have tons of data. Then I just need to go to Samsung Smart Switch app (Download on Google Play/Samsung Apps) on my Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE and log into my iCloud account.

Click transfer and... Tada! Everything got transferred into my new phone in just 10 minutes . It's really, really, really convenient!

I highly recommend new Samsung phone users to use this application to transfer all your files!

This is my first Android phone so I was expecting to have trouble getting used to it. But surprisingly, it was really easy to use and extremely customizable. I'm having so much fun with it, I kept trying out different stuff!

Playing with the heart rate detector

The heart rate detector is so cool! All I need is to place my finger at the detector for less than a minute and it can tell me my heart rate! The detector is conveniently located at the back of the phone, below the camera.

Other than the Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE, there is one more thing that I want to share!

Introducing the Samsung Gear Fit, which is SUPER convenient when I'm working out and I can't carry my phone with me. It tells me the time and notifies me of any messages/calls/emails within the Bluetooth range from the phone (i.e 10m) and fits and even look as stylish as a watch.

I love that the Samsung Gear Fit acts like a personal trainer to help me keep fit with goal-settings, workout progress report, etc. There is also a built-in heart rate sensor in the Samsung Gear Fit, which measures my heart rate so I know whether I'm exercising properly! It is even dust and water resistant, so I don't need to worry about bringing out when I exercise in the rain or when I play water sports!

The band is easily removable and comes in different designs. So pretty! I want them all!

I'm really happy with my new Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE, and I'm still amazed that I managed to get used to Android so fast!

I guess I'm a fast learner! :D

  1. Do you get lag in intermittent pauses in music immediately after unlocking your S5? Just curious. ^^
